Did you miss the Art show? Well here’s a recap!
The Repurpose Project Tampa was on display at Factory 114 in Channelside for Fall 2019
Of course we took pictures!
Artist Mila Lynn hosted an Art Show in Downtown Tampa that drew a connection between the local creative community and Tampa’s affluent investors. She displayed 17 pieces of art constructed from Magazine Clippings that signify the importance of individualism and cohesion. With around 150 guests in attendance, she curated a group of local musicians to perform, as well as an experience that required guests to reflect on their inner importance. This project involved a collaboration between Tampa based streetwear company, S.W.I.G. Clothing and Former NFL Player, Kamerion Wimbley, along with Mila herself.
“Genesis,” was put on silent auction and closed at $1000, the funds went to the Art Conservatory for Teens, which is a local nonprofit that uses the integration of art to help youth in the Greater Tampa Area.
Mila is a traveling artist that just arrived in Tampa at the beginning of March. This event was her farewell as she prepares to return to London. The goal of the show was to create a night where locals of all walks of life could come together to celebrate their community and encourage each other to keep striving towards their passions. The event hosted LIVE music from the selection of Tampa-based musicians, an Open Bar, and Mila’s Artwork on display for purchase.
